The South Fork Natural History Museum & Nature Center is the only state-of-the-art natural history museum on the South Fork of Long Island. The museum opened in May, 2005 in eastern Suffolk County. It's home to an official Monarch Waystation, butterfly garden, contributing to monarch conservation.
